Jewett Still on Top; Porters Move on Up!!
Two more races today. Kevin Jewett seems untouchable. He has amassed 12 points in four races, 3-2-6-1. But it was Brian Porter who won the day with a 1-5 today. Yesterday's highranking Augie Barkow had a downwind tipover on race 1 Saturday morning and needs a throwout which will occur with race 6.

Another beautiful photo by Larry Kmiecik. Liz Harned looks great in fuchsia - even here! This was a recovery.

Overhead shots via remote control provide an impressive view of the fleet returning to shore.

Submit Regatta Bids by Fall Board Meeting
ILYA logo Can the ILYA Visit Your Club?
All ILYA Member Clubs are reminded that the ILYA Board of Directors will accept bids for ILYA sanctioned regattas prior to its fall meeting in October. The Board will award bids at that meeting as well, finishing the regatta schedule for 2014 as well as adding to the 2015-2017 scheduling. To see a complete listing of regatta bids (both awarded and yet to be awarded), please see the Regatta Bids schedule at http://ilya.org/regatta-bid-chart.html (under the Racing menu at www.ILYA.org).
Any ILYA Member Club Officer may submit a bid on behalf of his or her club simply by sending an email to the ILYA office at ScowSlants@aol.com.

Lotawana Fall C
September 27-29

The Lake Lotawana C-Fleet will hold their traditional Fall Regatta the weekend of September 27-28-29.  Registration and a tune up race are scheduled for Friday, along with the regular KC BBQ pot luck and party on the patio at the MoYC.  We will shoot for three races on Saturday and two on Sunday if conditions and time permit.  There will be a dinner at the MoYC on Saturday night and a brunch on Sunday after racing where trophies will be presented.

We generally have nice weather and winds this time of year at Lotawana, and boat traffic should be light post Labor Day.

We look forward to seeing you on the line the last weekend of September!
