Roble /Haeger/Canfield/Janney Race for Third

Sheboygan Hosts US Sailing Matchracing Champs - go watch this weekend

The finals for the Prince of Wales Bowl will be a battle of the Daves. Dave Perry and Dave Dellenbaugh will sail for the title while the Roble clan will sail for third or fourth today. In a tough match yesterday, Roble was up 2-0 before Perry set to work with three straight wins knocking the Roble team out of the finals Sunday.

Lake Lotawana and Polar Bear- September 28-29

The Lake Lotawana C-Fleet will hold their traditional Fall Regatta the weekend of September 27-28-29.  Registration and a tune up race are scheduled for Friday, along with the regular  BBQ pot luck and party on the patio at the MoYC.  We will shoot for three races on Saturday and two on Sunday if conditions and time permit.  There will be a dinner at the MoYC on Saturday night and a brunch on Sunday after racing where trophies will be presented.

We generally have nice weather and winds this time of year at Lotawana, and boat traffic should be light post Labor Day.

We look forward to seeing you on the line the last weekend of September!

Want to sail on the Mississippi? For years the Lake Davenport members have welcomed us along with the barges for great Fall sailing. For some folks this is a not-to-be-missed event. Come join them.

And Delavan for the Last C Event of the Season
October 6-7
C Worlds is your last stop in SE WI for C boat racing. Homecooked meals. Chilly weather most likely but great sailing. Come to conquer the Worlds.
Beulah Challenge
Great Mix of Experienced and Youth
29 of Beulah's 30 boats are on the water but as the boats sail by the finish line boat, it is hard to recognize the sailors. Beulah generously has unfamiliar sailors along with the regulars on the boats. The marvelous Saturday night dinner was something to behold as young faces were everywhere. It seems the C's are exceptional these days at attracting new blood. This event owes that success to youthful Andrew Bohl who chaired his first regatta and attracted a new crowd, some of whom were trialing C's for the first time - as both helmsman and crew. This fall event has been used since its inception to recruit sailors to the fleet.
