Roble /Haeger/Canfield/Janney in Second

Sheboygan Hosts US Sailing Matchracing Champs - go watch this weekend

After two days of round robin activity, our favorites sit in second place behind Dave Dellenbaugh who has won this event twice. Last year Roble won the event crewing with Taylor Canfield. This year, Roble takes the helm and Canfield sits as tactician. Joining them is Annie Haeger, literally off the plane from Spain to Sheboygan. On day one, the team, who has not sailed together sailed to a fourth place finish. Yesterday, they lost only one match to Dellenbaugh. It's worth a trip to see the site and the top US sailors. Dave Perry, a frequent speaker at our Winter Inland, also is competing. The group is sailing in Sonars.

Lake Lotawana and Polar Bear- September 28-29

The Lake Lotawana C-Fleet will hold their traditional Fall Regatta the weekend of September 27-28-29.  Registration and a tune up race are scheduled for Friday, along with the regular  BBQ pot luck and party on the patio at the MoYC.  We will shoot for three races on Saturday and two on Sunday if conditions and time permit.  There will be a dinner at the MoYC on Saturday night and a brunch on Sunday after racing where trophies will be presented.

We generally have nice weather and winds this time of year at Lotawana, and boat traffic should be light post Labor Day.

We look forward to seeing you on the line the last weekend of September!

Want to sail on the Mississippi? For years the Lake Davenport members have welcomed us along with the barges for great Fall sailing. For some folks this is a not-to-be-missed event. Come join them.

And Delavan for the Last C Event of the Season
October 6-7
C Worlds is your last stop in SE WI for C boat racing. Homecooked meals. Chilly weather most likely but great sailing. Come to conquer the Worlds.
