Our older youth
 Laser North Americans
Erik Bowers was 5th of 54 in the Full Rig at the Gorge in Oregon. Malcolm Lamphere was 4th of 51 in the Laser Radials.
Race committee notes
  White Flag is OUT!
For back to back racing, the flag flown at the finish line is the Second repeater. For many years we have flown the white flag to indicate more racing. the signal boat on the rac course will fly the flag to the right at the finish line to indicate NO LUNCH, enjoy more.

Course designations
Look for higher numbers as we did last year. Races are described by legs and not laps. Leeward finishes will be marked by an "L" followed by an even number; upwind finishes by an odd number. Look at the Sailing Instructions for diagrams of available courses for your RC to utilize. Many of your local clubs have maintained the older convention, i.e. W 2 1/2. Watch for the change.

Sailing Instructions
For our ADULT fleets, we are posting SI's online. There will always be a set posted on the official noticeboard. This is an attempt to "go green". SI's are posted now for your ADULT fleet. Go to the ILYA website.
Big Champs at Mendota
 Article Tomorrow
Scowlines tomorrow will be devoted to the Mendota Big Inland. The Invites concluded this weekend so hold onto your hats -- the excitement begins. There is not another city with great water like Mendota -- says the unbiased Badger. The event is two weekends to encourage participation. Bilge Pullers has reserved the best restaurant in town according to then young steak eaters.
