Kaszube Cup - no reulsts posted

Submitted by Fred Barkow, grandfather

Last week Tuesday and Wednesday DJ and Austin Jaessing went to South Shore Yacht Club for the 29th Kaszube Cup in the Opti. DJ sailed fantastic with 4 firsts, 3rd, 5th and 6th. Not only did he win his red division but the overall regatta. The following is a paragraph that he wrote.

"The Kaszube Cup was a very fun and exciting to sail on the freezing waters of Lake Michigan.  We had an extreme number of 7 races, which had about 5-10 mph with occasional gusts of about 12 mph.  The competition was amazing with people ranging from Chicago all the way to Sheboygan yacht club.  Austin and I were the only people from the West Bend area, which was sad, but we still had fun with all of the other kids that came to the regatta.  In the end of the regatta I ended up taking the win with the Chicago twins taking second and third.  I won an amazing 4 out the 7 races that they had done over the course of the regatta.
