Thanks to Nagawicka, again, for a smashing success. To watch the trophy presentation in its entirety, click here. You will see the hospitality by just watching the opening by Commodore Mary Lloyd Lynn Murphy. She makes special reference to the "miracles" we all experienced this weekend and that is particularly dear to Nagaqwicka's heart as the Chapman home burned down with no one harmed and the severe accident on the way to work of one of Myles Murphy who was registered to sail - again unharmed. They are appreciative and so giving as a club.

Race PRO Mark Tesar was most patient awaiting the wind which was NOT predicted. By waiting 20 minutes, he got a great 7mph race with Dave Harris benefitting from the delay.

Final results here.

And it seems they practice this - professional Conga dancers. Naga Conga or some such verbiage.

ILYA MC Invitational - Harriet
Countdown to Harriet
With 38 boats pre-registered this regatta is quickly falling into the "major event" category. Sailors coming from 14 lakes including several previous Invite and Inland champions, a great social schedule, and a totally unique venue. This is a public lake with no motorboat chop - the RC and safety team are the only motorboats allowed on the lake. It is an MC sailor's dream.
See you at the starting line,
Joe Fricton
