| ILYA Youth Champs |
This year's youth champs on beautiful Lake Calhoun features one of the largest club 420 fleets in recent history. On the first day of racing 28 boats took to the water and competed in 3 morning races. The current leader, Connor Corgard of Lake Calhoun Sailing School, posted an impressive performance with a 2-1-1. Corgard was followed closely by Wheeler Morris of Saint Croix Sailing School who provided fierce competition with a 1-3-3. More exciting racing is scheduled for tomorrow during three additional races. With medium air forecasted for the afternoon hours, the hopes are high for a strong finish to the youth champ races and another great day of racing on Lake Calhoun.

| Now this is a tough ride home |
Chris Andert's MUD took a scenic ride home after losing the left wheel and hub just before the Red River on I-94 heading to Minneapolis. Needless to day a long trip home for tired sailors.
