Registration and Launching: Registration and launching will be at the Whiting Boathouse. Sailing Instructions will be provided at the time of registration.

Registration is not officially complete until measurement and weight requirements have been checked, and sailing instructions with waiver have been received and signed for.

Warning Signal for first race: 12:30 p.m., Fri., August 6
Six races are scheduled, of which one must be completed to constitute a regatta. Except when races are sailed back-to-back, the time of the warning signal for subsequent races will be posted. If one race has been completed, no warning signal shall be made after Noon on the last day of scheduled racing. In any case, no warning signal shall be made after 1:00 p.m. on the last day of scheduled racing.
Eligibility
The regatta is open to boats of the I-20 Scow Class. The skipper must be a family, regular, youth or life member of the ILYA at the time of registration. Crew members become members of the ILYA by virtue of the yacht’s completed registration. ILYA Member Club requirements apply. See ILYA By-laws 12.22 and 12.23.
Social
Thursday and Friday nights are open to enjoy the town. Saturday night is the Corn Roast at the Whiting Boathouse with a fleet meeting afterwards. Complimentary coffee and rolls for breakfast and all lunches served at the Whiting boathouse too.
Fees
The entry fee is $100 per boat. Entries should be submitted on-line or on the official ILYA Regatta Entry form. Entries postmarked or otherwise received after July 25 (early registration deadline) will incur late fees as specified in ILYA By-law 12.18.3. The Regatta Entry form, which includes the Waiver of Liability and other pertinent information, may be found in Scow Slants and on-line.
Entry is free for skippers sailing their first ILYA Adult Class Regatta, and who contact the ILYA office and register prior to or on the early registration deadline (July 25).
A 50% youth-aged skipper discount is available to qualifying skippers who register prior to or on the early registration deadline (July 25).
Registration fee incentives do not apply to on-site registrations.
Trophies
Perpetual trophies will be awarded to the winner of each race. Trophies will be awarded to the skipper and crew of the top five finishing boats. Trophies will be presented on Sunday after lunch at the Whiting Boathouse.
Risks
Sailing is an activity that has an inherent risk of damage and injury. Competitors in this event are participating entirely at their own risk. See RRS 4, Decision to Race. The race organizers (organizing authority, race committee, protest committee, host club, sponsors, or any other organization or official) will not be responsible for damage to any boat or other property or the injury to any competitor, including death, sustained as a result of participation in this event. By participating in this event, each competitor, or in the case of minors, each competitor’s parent or guardian, agrees to release the race organizers from any and all liability associated with such competitor’s participation in this event to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Rules
1. Except as any of the following are altered by the Sailing Instructions, the regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing, the prescriptions of the United States Sailing Association, the Rules and Bylaws of the ILYA, and the I-20 class scantlings:
2. ADVERTISING will be restricted to Category A.
3. BOATING REGULATIONS of the State of Wisconsin will apply.
Courses
The courses to be sailed will be described in the Sailing Instructions. The racing area will be on the navigable waters of Lake Winnebago.
Housing
Rooms have been blocked off at the Holiday Inn Neenah Riverwalk in downtown Neenah for $95/night, (888-HOLIDAY) a 1/2 mile from the Whiting Boathouse. Camping and RVing can be had at the Catlin Farm, 2 miles from the Whiting Boathouse.
Miscellaneous
Mooring: The regatta will be dry sailed, off trailers at Whiting Boathouse, with water storage available off the sea walls too. City launch stickers will be provided at registration.
At least three safety boats, tow boats, a number of spectator and camera boats and two RC boats will be attending to the regatta.

Registration
Eligible boats may enter by three means:
1) Registering on the ILYA website (www.ilya.org). To register for the regatta click HERE.
2) Completing an official ILYA Regatta Entry Application and sending it, together with the required fee, to the ILYA at PO Box 311, Fontana, WI 53125.
3) Faxing to ILYA at 262-203-7722.
All entries must be postmarked or otherwise received by July 25 to avoid late penalties per ILYA By-law 12.18.3.d. Fax and Internet registrations require MasterCard or VISA credit card information.
