Social
The Yacht Club will be the center of activity for launching, take out, lunches, competitors briefing, parties, awards ceremonies, post race informal socializing, etc. Whether competitors are privately housed or not, our intention is each competitor will moor their boat at a club member’s home. This will create a convenient environment and a way to renew old friendships or create new ones.
Lunches will be provided each day. Friday evening, the famous Okauchee YC fish fry will be served. Saturday night will be an informal gathering at the clubhouse with “heavy hors d’ouvres” and pizza. Two hours after race time on Friday and Saturday, lucky members of the winning “team” will be awarded prizes based on the days results.

The entry fee is $96.00 per
boat. Entries should be submitted on-line or on an official ILYA
Regatta Entry form and postmarked or otherwise received by July 5,
2008. Entries postmarked or otherwise received after July 5 will incur

Risks
Sailing is an activity that has an inherent risk of damage and injury. Competitors in this event are participating entirely at their own risk. See RRS 4, Decision to Race. The race organizers (organizing authority, race committee, protest committee, host club, sponsors, or any other organization or official) will not be responsible for damage to any boat or other property or the injury to any competitor, including death, sustained as a result of participation in this event. By participating in this event, each competitor, or in the case of minors, each competitor’s parent or guardian, agrees to release the race organizers from any and all liability associated with such competitor’s participation in this event to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Rules

Pursuant to ILYA Bylaw 12.22, measurement and weighing will not be conducted, but each entry is bound by the ILYA class C scantlings.
All communication will be by VHF radio, hailer when required, and flag signals.
In accordance with ISAF Regulation 20, this regatta is classified as an “invitational” Category A event.
The Low point system, RRS A4, will apply, except that Rule A2 is changed so that each boat’s total score will be the sum of her scores for all (maximum seven) races. One completed (official) race shall constitute a regatta.
